Camden Court
Early concept sketches and cover ideas for Newlon’s Camden Court, shared ownership residential apartments in Camden Town. Early ideas included a hand-drawn logo, which was scanned in, hand traced and vectorised using an iPencil with iPad Pro. The project’s logo was inspired by the two buildings floor plans, an ’S’ shaped building incorporating two courtyards within. This was created by using the negative space between the two ‘C’ shapes which are the first two letters of Camden Court. The copper roofing influenced the logo being foiled, with the cover paper stock representing the materials of the building grey steel exterior.
The brochure design incorporated high quality print finishes such as copper foil, textured Fedrigoni card and bound as a layflat brochure with orange contrasting taped spine. The inner pages are all interleaved with half size inserts describing each of the full page photographic spreads, which exude the coolness and desirability of this much sort after area. The project included design of 4 page brochure, folding 6 page leaflet, exhibition displays, animated gifs, web graphics for the minisite, newspaper and magazine advertising.
